Award Recognizes Outstanding Employers in the Insurance Industry
SAN FRANCISCO, November 16, 2023 – At-Bay, the InsurSec provider for the digital age, today announced it has been named in the annual Best Places to Work in Insurance program, which recognizes employers for their outstanding performance in establishing workplaces where employees can thrive, enjoy their work and help their companies grow.
At-Bay, the first cyber InsurTech to transition to full-stack E&S carrier, specializes in insurance and cybersecurity solutions for small-to-mid sized businesses (SMBs). On a mission to build the next generation of insurance, At-Bay brings together the mission-critical technologies and human expertise needed to bridge the business risk capability gap that exists among today’s SMBs.
“We are truly honored to be recognized by Business Insurance as one of the industry’s best places to work for the third year in a row,” said Kristie Felton, Head of Insurance at At-Bay. “At-Bay was built from the ground up to empower businesses to thrive in the digital world. This award is a testament to our entire team’s strong commitment to our mission, and a reflection of the world-class company culture we have created together.”
At-Bay’s marquee insurance solutions include Cyber (E&S and Admitted), Tech E&O, and Miscellaneous Professional Liability (MPL). Recognized as the 19th best place to work in insurance by Business Insurance in 2023, At-Bay this year was also named as one of the fastest 50 growing Fintech companies by Forbes, and also a top 50 most promising private Insurtech by CBInsights.
Best Places to Work in Insurance is an annual sponsored content feature presented by the Custom Publishing unit of Business Insurance and Best Companies Group that lists the agents, brokers, insurance companies and other providers with the highest levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. Harrisburg, Pa.-based Best Companies Group identifies the leading employers in the insurance industry by conducting a free two-part assessment of each company. The first part is a questionnaire completed by the employer about company policies, practices and demographics. The second part is a confidential employee survey on engagement and satisfaction.
The program divides employers into the categories of small, 25-249 employees; medium, 250-999 employees; and large, 1,000 or more employees. This year’s report features 100 companies of various sizes, from 25 employees to more than 4,000.
The ranking and profiles of the winning companies will be unveiled in the November issue of Business Insurance and online at BusinessInsurance.com.
